MAUI ORGANIC FARM

Haleakala is one of the powerful and magic mountains of the world.  One of the astronauts claimed that as he flew around the earth he could see energy shooting out from the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro in Africa and from Haleakala crater.  The high energy of east Maui is the very reason why many of us live here.  Viewed by air from a lower elevation, you see that East Maui is three huge plates that meet at three ridges: in Hana, Ulupalakua/Makena and Olinda/Makawao.  While the overall energy of this the island is very high, it is especially powerful along these ridges.

The vision and dedication of the owner has been augmented by ten years hosting of the Body and Soil conferences that have demonstrated new techniques, like making and using biochar.  The original farm house has been lovingly restored and what was once the barn has been converted to a country kitchen.  A bedroom and bath have been added.

A well-respected organic farmer has worked this land for years.  There is a variety of fruit trees from avocado to pears but the major crops have been greens and vegetables.  Cloud Farm is reported to be the largest organic vegetable farm in the state of Hawaii.
