Geographically, Pukalani is at about 1,200 foot elevation and is southeast of Kahului. Kula is to the South of Pukalani and Makawao and Haiku are to the North. Pukalani is less than 7 miles away from Kahului airport and is accessed from the Haleakala Highway.
